OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR

THE ORGANISATION:

AsIAm is Ireland’s National Autism Charity based in Blackrock, Co.
Dublin. AsIAm is a fast paced, growing organisation with a vision to
create a society where every autistic person is accepted “as they
are” – equal, valued and respected. AsIAm works to support the
Autistic community and our families to fully engage in Irish life and
build the capacity of society to facilitate true inclusion.

THE ROLE:

The Office Administrator will report directly to the Directior of
Operations and will be part of the administration team.

This role provides an ideal opportunity for someone who is highly
organised with excellent IT and administrative skills, is comfortable
and skilled in interacting with vulnerable people, and is able to
autonomously prioritise daily tasks according to urgency.

The successful candidate must hold a clean driving license. They will
be required to regularly drive to events, locally and nationally.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Support the Director of Operations with office upkeep and
maintenance, including ordering and storage of materials
* Support the Director of Operations with internal and programmatic
events
* Support the External Affairs and Fundraising Department with
external event management, promotion and merchandise
* Contribute towards the administrative team’s production and
distribution of ID cards
* Take and triage daily calls to the general phone line
* Oversee multiple mailboxes daily and direct professional and
sensitive communication to multiple stakeholders

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

* Experience in managing and prioritising an administrative workload
* Excellent personal organisational systems
* Strong computer literacy
* In possession of a full clean driver’s licence

CONTRACT DURATION: This is a fixed term contract for one-year, with
the potential to be extended subject to funding.

SALARY AND BENEFITS: AsIAm will offer a salary and benefits
commensurate with the AsIAm pay scale and experience.
Salary will align with Grade III as set out in the HSE Consolidated
Pay Grades.
In addition to annual leave, the company traditionally offers
additional paid time off (company days) including a Christmas office
closure period. This is sanctioned annually at the discretion of
management.

WORKING HOURS: The role is typically Monday to Friday, 9:**Apply on
the website** am to 5: * pm.
The role holder is required to have a degree of flexibility regarding
working hours with the expectation of some evening and weekend work.

LOCATION: The role is based in AsIAm HQ in Blackrock, Co. Dublin.
